The Bridge authority caught him turn around on the bridge's camera while he was approaching the reporter's camera. As he was cussing out the reporter, the authorities caught up with him and issued several tickets including driving the wrong way, driving without insurance and driving without a suspended licence. He also had his bike impounded for 30 days.
If he didn't approach the camera, he probably would have gotten away with what he did.
My descriptions doesn't do it justice however. Watch it again after work too! The mouthing off is glorious.

This reporter is famous for his "People Behaving Badly" segments. For this one, he had gone to the GGB to film people who stop in the traffic lanes to take pictures. Motorcycle guy missed his turn, and drove the wrong way up an exit ramp to rectify his mistake. Reporter filmed it. No big deal. But mc guy took offense, parked his bike, and came over to bitch at the reporter for "sticking cameras in people's faces." GGB police saw the altercation, and perhaps his initial infraction, detained him, and called CHP. CHP showed up, watched the video, and cited the rider for driving the wrong way, no insurance, and driving on a suspended license. They also impounded his bike. If he had just STFU and kept riding, he would have been fine.

I don't know. The reporter was standing there when this guy came up and started bitching at him. There's nothing at all illegal about what the reporter was doing. This reporter has done many similar segments, including this gem:

nah... I think that shows there are consequences for bad actions. That's appropriate.

The thing is that everyone makes a stupid decision once in a while, and it's not really worth showing off to the public. When we have segments like this shown here, everything is confidential, so filled in paperwork is blurred and faces are pixellated.
He just seems to be making some news out of nothing. Most of these are small violations after all.

Guy gets mad for having a "camera in his face."
After removing his helmet, walking across the road, and sticking his face in front of said running camera.
Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, is he?

He's acting like my 8-year-old when he gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar. The dude doth protest too much, methinks.

That stupid ass biker was riding with no insurance and on a suspended license. Seriously, fuck him.

The biker should get what he deserves. However, the reporter should realize that the public aren't always gonna be happy when they publicize your mistakes - big or small.
